IGB bietet jedoch stattdessen Indie-Charaktere und das Spiel ist offen für alle Vorschläge. Indie Game Battle ist ein Multiplayer-Kampfspiel für bis zu 8 Spieler, inspiriert von der Super Smash Bros-Serie. Indie Game Battle spielt sich ähnlich wie unsere eigene Version von Smash Bros. Einige Kernunterschiede sind jedoch das teambasierte Gameplay, das Statuseffektsystem und die PP-Anzeige. IGB soll besonders gut mit Teamkämpfen funktionieren, auf die nur wenige andere Smash Bros- oder Smash Br.
